About the lounge

It all started when my mom mentioned to me that her friends in a retirement community couldn't find their walkers among all the other identical walkers parked outside the dining room. I thought, hmmm... I can come up with something...

I have worked with laser marking machines for over 25 years and I managed the art department at a promotional products company.  So I created some license plates from lacquer coated aluminum for a couple of her friends. It wasn't long before I started getting requests for more. So I thought, hmmm... maybe I'm on to something...

I had always thought about selling my retro inspired artwork online, but I never thought that this idea would launch like it did. Now I'm in the process of adding more of my creations to my webstore.  I really enjoy designing the plates, laser engraving and shipping them out the door. I really feel like I've accomplished something at the end of the day when I see the finished product.
